Software Engineer

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong technical background and a “get-things-done” attitude who is eager to learn new technologies to join our engineering team for a full-time position preferably in our office in Xanthi.

Examples of work you might undertake:
  • Work as a team to build new products
  • Improve existing features in order to maintain user experience in a high level
  • Build efficient and reusable front-end and back-end systems and communicate best practices
  • Optimize workflows in order to minimise friction and speed up repetitive tasks
  • Create and adapt a codebase capable of supporting quick prototyping and development cycles
  • Attend Conferences to deploy our products locally

What Skills and Experience you Will Need:
  • At least 2 years of working experience
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Working experience with Frontend Frameworks (preferably Angular)
  • Good knowledge of an OO language (preferably Java)
  • Experience in SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intrigued by the product as much as by the technology
  • A solid CS background
  • Good communication skills and team spirit
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Willing to travel internationally 20% of the time
We Will Appreciate if You Have:
  • Understanding of responsive design
  • An eye for detail and a sense of design
  • Comfort in TDD and other testing practices
  • Experience implementing/consuming REST APIs
  • Comfortable with UNIX operating systems
Bonus Points:
  • Experience in Java EE
  • Experience in a CMS (Drupal, Wordpress) and knowledge of PHP is a huge plus
  • Typescript and ES6
  • Experience with a state management library (preferably Redux)
  • Contributed in open-source projects.
